Assignments
The Assignments module allows you to logically group the different work types into (chargeable) and internal work (non–chargeable). Time and Disbursements are recorded against assignments.
- Work units
- The type of work carried out by the practice is broken down into work units which have a time and cost associated with them. Work units benefit the client because they have a personalised workflow that is geared towards meeting their requirements. Work units are broken down into: Assignments, Jobs, Milestones and Tasks.

- A Milestone is a series of related tasks grouped around a type of assignment. In grouping these tasks, the practice can: 1) display milestones on the homepage control for job management purpose to identify a discrete step of a type of assignment when a particular milestone of an assignment has been reached. 2) monitor the progress of work being carried out so that the stage is completed in a timely manner to the expectations or timeframes agreed with a client or even to meet official deadlines.
