A task is the  basic activity or step that each employee does when carrying out work for the practice. Each task has a code associated with it and is maintained in the system under a Task Code.

A task could be any one of these examples:

  • Allocate job

  • Collate information

  • Balance accounts

  • Send for review

  • Check accuracy

  • Sign off work

Allocating a task to a stage

  2. The client's Assignment Details page appears.

  3. Click the Schedule tab.

  4. Select the schedule you want from the drop-down list.

  2. Click Tasks at the end of the Employee Category row.
The Available Tasks for the Stage Description appear.

  3. Select a Task from the Available Tasks panel that you want to associate with the stage.

  4. Move the Tasks to the Selected Tasks panel.

  5. Repeat Steps 8 and 9 as appropriate.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Repeat for each Stage in the Stage Listing.

  8. Click OK on the Assignment Details page.
