CCH Trust Accounts: Trust Charity Accounts Training

Overview

This single on-line session provides training in the preparation of the charity accounts in CCH Trust Accounts/CCH Accounts Production. 
Delegates attending the course should have a good understanding of charity accounting and the related reporting requirements. 

Course Duration: The session will last up to 3 hours.

Key Objectives

  • To ensure that delegates have an understanding of the how to set up and use the CCH Trust Accounts software to deal with charity accounts
  • To ensure that delegates are able to enter transactions in the software relating to charity accounts
  • To ensure that delegates can produce a set of detailed charity accounts and produce charity reports, the output being in CCH Accounts Production

  • Linking CCH Trust Accounts with CCH Central / Accounts Production
  • CCH Central - addresses and associations
  • Accounts formatting - linking through to CCH Accounts Production
  • CCH Accounts Production:
    • Officers (beneficiaries and trustees)
    • The statutory database 
      • Charity information and preferences
      • Trustees' report, responsibilities
      • Audit report
      • Financial statements:
        • SOFA
        • Balance sheet
        • Statement of cash flows
        • Accounting policies and notes
      • CCH Trust Accounts - Housekeeping and year end procedure
      • Summary, on-line resources, Support Portal

Who is this course designed for?

CCH Trust Accounts/CCH Accounts Production users who will be preparing a set of charity accounts for a trust.
