CCH Trust Accounts: Trust Estates (Probate) Accounts Training

Overview

This is usually a show and tell single session providing training in the preparation of the probate accounts in CCH Trust Accounts/ CCH Central / CCH Accounts Production.

Key Objectives

  • To ensure that all delegates have an understanding of the how to set up and use the CCH Trust Accounts software to deal with probate cases
  • To ensure that all delegates are able to enter transactions in the software relating to probate cases
  • To ensure that all delegates are able to produce a set of detailed probate accounts

Course Contents

  • Introductions
  • Overview of relationships between CCH Central, CCH Trust Accounts and CCH Accounts Production
  • Within CCH Trust Accounts amending common file details, if required.
  • Setting up a new probate client in CCH Central / CCH Trust Accounts
  • Idenifiying periods in CCH Trust accounts using the Autoload function
  • Creating and editing nominal account codes
  • Entering journals and other data
  • Editing entries
  • Output of accounts into CCH Accounts Production
  • Entering information in the Statutory database in CCH Accounts Production
  • Previewing and saving the accounts
  • Customer community / online resources
  • Summary of session

Pre-requisites

Attendees should adhere to the Training session Guidelines.

All attendees should have a good understanding of CCH Central

All attendees should have a good understanding of accounting for Estates (probates).

All attendees should have completed the Data Entry and CCH Accounts Production Formatter training.

 CCH Trust Accounts users who will be preparing Estate (probate) accounts.
