CCH Packs: Central Implementation Consultancy

The purpose of the implementation meeting is to discuss the structure of the practice and complete the configuration of the CCH Database. Your consultant will work with you to add the practice's details, its employees, its official credentials and proceed with the import of clients and contacts from the spreadsheet populated by you. This is an online interactive course designed to run for one session up to 3 hours each.

Who should attend the consultancy session?

  • Representative(s) with business decision making responsibility
  • The person who is listed on the HMRC credentials should be present in order to enable the HMRC Digital Tax Account

What should we prepare in advance?Edit section

During the implementation meeting the consultant will proceed with the import of contacts and clients into your CCH database therefore it is crucial that you:

  • download a copy of the spreadsheet here
  • the spreadsheet contains a tab with instructions
  • have the import spreadsheet ready with all fields populated accordingly

To facilitate the completion of the configuration it is recommended to have the following information available on the implementation, please DO NOT send this information to us, the consultant will instruct where those should be logged in your database:

  • the Practice’s HMRC gateway credential
  • the Practice’s Companies House credential (ID presenter)
  • the full name of the Practice’s employees who are going to use CCH
  • the person who is listed on the HMRC credentials should be present in order to enable the HMRC Digital Tax Account
  • it is recommended that all users are registered for CCH Support, you should receive those instructions before the implementation

Key Objectives

To ensure that:

  • The structure of the practice is fully set up in CCH
  • The HMRC gateway credentials and Companies House credentials are added to CCH
  • Ensure documents, bills and templates are in the correct place
  • Import all clients into CCH

CCH Central configuration

  • Check the structure of your practice against the compliance pre-configuration 
  • Create partners and employees and discuss passwords
  • Ensure the path for documents, bills and templates are setup
  • Ensure the practice and its partners are setup
  • Ensure the employees are added to CCH Central and each of them are allocated to the respective security group
  • Show the areas of the software where the practice's credentials for HMRC and Companies House should be placed if you have acquired the compliance products
  • Show how to initiate the DTA (Digital Tax Accounts) verification process if you have acquired the Personal Tax product
  • Understanding the difference between contacts and clients
  • Show how to create clients and contacts
  • How to use CCH Support
  • Import the contacts and clients since the import spreadsheet is ready as per instructions provided
  • Discuss CCH OneClick activation process to take place with the digital sales team

Note: This online consultancy takes up to 3 hours.
