CCH Accounts Production: Implementation Consultancy - Corporate (10091210)

Overview

The purpose of this meeting is to provide you with the knowledge of choices within the CCH Accounts Production software for producing statutory accounts, in order for you, together with the guidance of our consultant, to make decisions regarding the setup of the software and options within it.  

Pre-requisites

In order to save time, your consultant will provide a file for you to complete prior to the meeting. 

Included in this file will be templates to assist with:

  • Setting up individual companies (clients) and contacts (e.g. directors, company secretary, auditors, banks, solicitors).
  • Mapping nominal codes from your existing chart of accounts to the relevant CCH chart of accounts. 
  • Importing a trial balance.

Duration: This meeting consists of two sessions. Each session will last up to 3 hours.  Delivery will be either two onsite sessions or two online sessions.

  • Initial Central set-up: Configuration key, name of database
  • CCH Products - access and licencing
  • Setting up users and applying security groups and permissions
  • The process of importing  / creating  clients and contacts and client security
  • The process of applying associations to clients 
  • The process of attaching addresses to clients

CCH Accounts Production Setup

  • The accounts data migration process
  • Mapping from 3rd party software 
  • Importing a TB for one client if the mapping is advanced enough at this stage

Depending on how you currently prepare your statutory accounts it may be necessary to create a mapping file and this can be started by yourselves prior to the meeting.

Who is this meeting designed for?

Statutory accounts preparers - This will depend upon the structure of your accounting team /number of Accounts Production users. 
Those responsible for overseeing the output the of the accounts.
Representative from the preparers of the accounts able to answer any questions that may arise and to steer the project as necessary.


It is a good idea to have an IT representative on standby or join at the beginning of the session. 
We will require access to your live system during this consultancy session.
The involvement of the IT department is crucial to installation, support, and any amendments of business recovery procedures. 
IT will not be required once installation has taken place and all technical considerations have been addressed with our specialised consultants.
