CCH Trust Accounts: Practice Formats consultancy

Overview

This course will include assistance in writing the format changes for the practice rather than training. 
The consultant will  work with the participants to understand , advise  on and oversee the required format changes with the aim of  providing sufficient knowledge to complete the any remaining formats and future changes.

Course Duration: This course consists of four onsite or online sessions. Each session will last up to 3 hours.

 

Key Objectives

  • To use the Format Designer for CCH Trust Accounts
  • To create Practice Masters, using a Practice version of the trust master pack and changing the master accounts pages in the Practice version
  • To apply the format changes to a test client. This will include the new master pack being applied to each client and then publishing the master pack

Course Contents

Session one Session two
  • Reviewing and understanding the practice format requirements
  • Overview of Format Designer
  • Creating new formats using the Format Designer
  • Using the Statutory Database to provide client specific content
  • Working with Collections
  • Using notes and cross referencing
  • Continuing from session one to create new practice formats using the Format Designer
  • Adding practice formats at a master level
  • Adding practice specific paragraphs at a master level
  • Applying Styles and Themes if required
  • Testing the new practice version of the master pack
  • Publishing the practice master pack

Pre-requisites

Attendees should adhere to the Training session Guidelines.

All attendees should have a good understanding of CCH Central.

All attendees should have a good understanding of CCH Trusts Accounts.

All attendees should have a good understanding of trust accounting.

All attendees should have a good understanding of spreadsheet type formulae.
