Prerequisites

Installing CCH Document Management 2023.2.

Software Enhancements

ITS 66421 - CCH column not ticked when an email was filed by another employee

In the past, the following was being reported; if employee 1 filed an email that employee 2 received when employee 2 viewed the email the CCH column was not ticked showing that the email was already filed. To handle this situation two new configuration keys have been introduced with the following defaults:

KeyName = DM_IEFItemClicked; KeyValue = 1; Description = "Get email filing status when a mail item is clicked"

KeyName = DM_IEFFolderRefresh; KeyValue = 0; Description = "Configure the number of emails to update, email filing status when folder is selected, eg KeyValue = 10"

Note: By increasing the DM_IEFFolderRefresh key value to a number greater than zero, may lead to performance degradation within Outlook on folder selection.

Quality Improvements

ITS 66140 - Unable to attach a document via the CCH Email Filing plugin to an email if Central is not running

Previously, an exception error message was shown when trying to attach a document to an email if CCH Central was not running.

ITS 53254 - CCH Email Filing - Where a filed email is forwarded, the sent and the forwarded email show as filed incorrectly

Previously, when an email was filed via CCH email filing, then the subsequent email was forwarded, the sent item and the forwarded received email, are listed as filed with the CCH column ticked, but the forwarded sent item email had not been filed.

ITS 66645 - Error shown on create PDF if grouping is applied within client document centre

Previously, if grouping was applied within the Client document centre and a document from the 'none' grouping had been added within the create PDF, an error message was shown and the PDF was not being created.
