CCH Corporation Tax 2023.210: Release Notes

Release Highlights

This release of CCH Corporation Tax is specifically targetted to deal with the applicaiton of SME and RDEC Tax credits.

Prerequisites

Installing CCH Corporation Tax 2023.2 Service Pack

This release is installed using the Central Suite Installer. This ensures that all prerequisites are in place and that all the products for which you are licenced are installed in the correct sequence. Click here to learn about the Central Suite Installer.

Quality Improvements

The following quality improvement is included in this release

ITS 67750 - Interaction of RDEC, SME R&D claim and s455 liability

An issue arose where you have an SME R&D claim and an RDEC R&D claim – both resulting in repayment claims and there is also a s455 liability that needs to be offset. CCH Corporation Tax offsets S455 tax against both repayments resulting in a double deduction of the s455 charge.

The SME tax credit in Box L175 now takes priority.
