Prerequisites

Installing CCH Practice Management 2025.2

This release is installed using the Central Suite Installer. This ensures that all prerequisites are in place and that all the products for which you are licenced are installed in the correct sequence. Click here to learn about the Central Suite Installer.

Software Enhancements

New Configuration Keys

Bills Ready to Send

A new configuration key called 'BillingHideBillsToPrint' has been added to the File > Maintenance > User defined > Configuration window. By default, the Key Value is 0. Where the key already exists with a value, the upgrade leaves it with the already set value. When switching the key value to 1, the 'Bills ready to Send' pop-up window does not appear after posting invoices.

ITS 68148 - PM_CheckDuplicateReceipt

A new configuration key called 'PM_CheckDuplicateReceipt' has been added to the File > Maintenance > User defined > Configuration window. By default, the Key Value is 1. Where the key already exists with a value, the upgrade leaves it with the already set value. When switching the key value to 0, duplicate receipts can be imported or entered.

Quality Improvements

Multicurrency - Allocating cash in a different currency than the bill

Since 2025.1, there was an issue when recording and allocating receipts received in a currency different from the bill.

Multicurrency - Int16 error for large databases

Since 2025.1, an Int16 error was received when previewing bills in Ledger mode (where the databases had more than 32767 bills)

Multicurrency - Export to excel

Since 2025.1, nothing happened when clicking the Export to excel button within the Multicurrency sales ledger.
