This area gives an overview of master packs, including creating, publishing and comparing master packs in CCH Accounts Production for the Trust and Probate entities used by CCH Trust Accounts.

Creating a master pack

The process to create a master pack in CCH Accounts Production is shown here: Master Packs - creating a new master pack

  • For CCH Trust Accounts, you will select one of the following depending on the Trust Account entity you are using:
    • Type: Trust and the Entity: UK Trust, or
    • Type: Probate and the Entity: UK Probate.
       

Publishing a master pack

Note: The year-end process for Trust Accounts is performed within CCH Trust Accounts, and as such there is not the requirement to publish the master packs in the same way for accounting periods created within CCH Accounts Production for other entity types.  However, to ensure the latest pack is the default it must be published.
