CCH Packs: Document Management Implementation Consultancy

During the online implementation consultancy of your document management system we will provide guidance on how your new system is pre-configured to allow for a quick start in this area.  Led by our experienced consultants the session provides an opportunity to review and refine how you manage all documents in your business. One session online consultancy running up to 3 hours.

The purpose of the Practice Management implementation meeting is to discuss the Practice's internal processes and review and refine how you manage all documents in your business. We will set up the relevant security around documents and set up a template with the Practice logo. This is an online interactive course designed to run for one session up to 3 hours.

Who should attend the consultancy session?

  1. Representative with business decision making responsibilities - Support for CCH Document Management and the paperless office from business leaders is critical to a successful implementation. Business leaders are responsible for communicating to employees the business's commitment to the roll-out of CCH Document Management and the benefits to clients.
  2. Personal Assistants\Administration - this group often have a detailed knowledge of existing procedures and can have a valuable input to the process. Ultimately they can be heavily impacted by the implementation of a document management system and therefore it is important to gather their feedback and input. Consider a Super User/Champion to represent this group.

What should we prepare in advance?

The purpose of the session is to review the software functionality and provide you with enough knowledge to be able to make decisions regarding how you will implement for the benefit of your business.  It is also designed to provide discussion around the impact on existing policies and workflows in your business.  We will also cover what new procedures may need to be put in place and what may need to be documented and communicated to the rest of the business.

Please bring a copy of your Practice’s header and footer to be added to a letter template.

  • The Practice’s security is applied at employee and document level
  • Set up a letter template with the Practice’s header and footer
  • Ensure the CCH plug-ins are active on Windows 365

  • Reviewing what document types are available for each assignment template
  • Adding Document management security permissions to employee records
  • Reviewing document security
  • Creating and editing a standard letter template
  • Understanding template maintenance
  • Understanding commonly used merge fields
  • Defining policies around key aspects of document management including:
  • Scanning
  • Filing emails
  • Archiving and destruction
  • Tasks

Pre-requisites

All attendees should have a good understanding of CCH Central and the existing document management systems for their business.

Note: This online consultancy takes up to 3 hours.
