Twinfield: Bookkeeping Training

Overview

Twinfield accounting software manages income and expenditure which enables the business executives to track the financial health of the business. 

This course has been designed to enable participants to use the basic functionality and learn how to make most efficient use of their online accounting system. 

These four Twinfield sessions have a hands on approach. Upon request the training can be broken down into specific functions based on the nature of the delegates user role.  

We recommend you start using the functionality which you have learnt during the course as soon as possible.

Course Duration:  Four sessions. Each session will last up to 3 hours.

Key Objectives

  • To ensure the delegates are able to apply knowledge when processing transactions through the bookkeeping systems and are able to search for transactions via the reporting module.

Session one and two

  • Twinfield navigation
  • Managing passwords
  • Creating flow of tasks
  • Sales invoicing process
  • Working with customers
  • Customer reporting
  • Purchase invoicing process 
  • Maintaining supplier records
  • Supplier reporting
  • Working with provisional transactions

Session three and four

  • Working with bank transactions
  • Matching transactions
  • Working with journals
  • Managing recurring transactions
  • Processing accruals and prepayments
  • VAT return procedure and reporting
  • General ledger reporting
  • Maintenance of periods
  • Year end procedure
  • Audit trail reporting

Pre-requisites

Attendees should adhere to the Training session Guidelines.

All attendees should have a good understanding of double entry bookkeeping.

All attendees are required to have there own laptop or desktop computer to join sessions
