CCH Practice Management: Bill Processing end user training

Overview

This practical interactive course provides training in creating draft bills, as well as authorising and posting where appropriate. 

The training includes navigation of the billing screens as well as associated WIP reports and Homepage functions. 

When taken online, this course will consist of one session.

Course Duration: This session will last up to 3 hours.

 

After completing this course, users will be able to raise bills using the software. 

Key objectives

  • The delegates will be able to view WIP reports create and submit a draft bill for approval
  • Bill authorisers will be able to authorise and post bills

Course Contents

Session: Bill Processing for End Users

  • Viewing Pre-billing reports and WIP Enquiry
  • WIP Transfer (where appropriate)
  • Straight forward WIP billing
  • Using paragraphs and master paragraphs
  • Interim/Estimate to complete billing
  • Pure profit bills and credit notes
  • Group billing
  • Monitoring draft bills not yet posted
  • Managing homepages in relation to billing
  • Authorising and posting bills
  • Sending bills to clients via post, email and OneClick

Pre-requisites

Attendees should adhere to the Training session Guidelines.

All attendees should have a good understanding of CCH Central

All attendees should have a basic understanding of WIP and bill processes along with appropriate task permissions.

  • Employees / CCH users who have responsibility for creating and/or Authorising and Posting Draft Bills within CCH Practice Management.
