CCH Practice Management: Setup and configuration training

Overview

This course provides training in setup and maintenance of the key components of CCH Practice Management within CCH Central. 

The training includes the configuration and management of your database, in line with your business requirements. 

Course Duration: These two practical interactive online or onsite sessions. Each session will last up to 3 hours.

After completing this course you will be able to continue with the system maintenance and configuration changes of the database. 

Key Objectives

  • The delegates will be able to access and utilise the maintenance tools of CCH Practice Management within CCH Central
  • Ensure delegates can maintain CCH Practice Management in line with company policy and procedures

Course Contents

Session 1: Practice setup and configuration

  • Company setup and maintenance
  • Employee setup and maintenance
  • Security groups and permissions
  • Assignment setup and maintenance (chargeable and non-chargeable)
  • Task Codes

Session 2 (Part 1):  Client setup and maintenance

  • Create, edit and maintain client and contact records
  • Extra fields creation and maintenance
  • Homepage create and maintenance

Session 2 (Part 2): Central overview and timesheet training for Champions/Super Users

  • Introduction to Central
  • Timesheet entry
  • Timesheet authorisation and posting
  • Disbursement entry

 

Pre-requisites 

Attendees should adhere to the Training session Guidelines.

All attendees should have a good understanding of CCH Central with appropriate task permissions.

Who is this course designed for?

Employees / CCH users who have responsibility for managing CCH Central and/or CCH Practice Management. 
System administrators.
 

Note: This training is designed to run onsite or online for 2 consecutive sessions. We recommend an End User session. Details of this session can be found here.
