CCH iXBRL Review & Tag: Training for Accounts conversion from MS Word and Excel
Overview
This training is suitable for users who produce statutory accounts using Word or Excel and are required to convert them to an iXBRL format in order to tag the accounts before submission to HMRC and/or Companies House.
This course provides training in setup and maintenance of the key components of CCH iXBRL Review & Tag in order to enable you to convert accounts produced in Word and Excel into an iXBRL file format and to apply the necessary tags from the taxonomy applicable to your accounts.
Upon completion of tagging you are able to generate the files for submissions to HMRC and/or Companies House.
Course Duration: This is a practical interactive course designed to run over one session online. The session will last up to 3 hours.

- Understanding iXBRL and what is required
- Understanding how to import and convert a Word and Excel document into a taggable format for actual and future years
- How tags are dealt with in CCH iXBRL Review & Tag
- Understand how to tag the Detailed Profit and Loss Accounts from within the Statutory Accounts
- Understand the submission process to HMRC and Companies House
- Optional - Interaction with CCH iXBRL Review & Tag and Corporation Tax
- Optional – How to file to Companies House and Filing history and status

Pre-requisites
- Attendees should adhere to the Training session Guidelines.
- All users should have a good understanding of Accounts.
- Prior to the course the HMRC and Companies House (if applicable) credentials for the firm/individuals must have been entered into the CCH iXBRL Review and Tag application.
