This training covers all elements of CCH Audit Automation which will be used on a daily basis. This course will run over two on site sessions and is a hands on approach to audit automation.

Overview

This training covers all elements of CCH Audit Automation which will be used on a daily basis. 
This course will run over two on site sessions and is a hands on approach to audit automation.  
Delegates will be required to work through the standard audit routines starting with the setting up of a new audit file, progressing through audit planning and fieldwork, to reviewing, completion and signing off the audit file.  

Course Duration: This is two sessions and each session will last up to 3 hours.

  • Setting up client audit files using CCH Audit Automation
  • Understanding how to work through the audit processes and reviewing audit planning
  • How to complete and review audit programmes and checklists
  • Including all necessary documentation in the audit file and cross referencing them as appropriate
  • Efficiently navigating the audit file
  • Reviewing and signing off the audit

  • Adding risks and completing a risk Assessment for an audit section

  • Generating and tailoring audit programmes
  • Notes - audit points and review notes
  • Review and sign off of planning 

Fieldwork

  • Completing audit tests
  • Creating, cross referencing and filing working papers
  • Concluding on identified risks
  • Completing accounts disclosure checklists
  • Journals and audit adjustments
  • Management letter feedback points
  • Reviewing

Completion

  • Signing off audit areas
  • Review of the file
  • Sign off and file closure
  • Rolling forward to next year

Pre-requisites

Attendees should adhere to the Training session Guidelines.

The audit automation implementation consultancy online session must have taken place before this training and the following checks should have been carried out by your System Administrator / audit automation champion:

  • System options and master pack settings have been set up as discussed in implementation meeting
  • Default chart of accounts set up as discussed in implementation meeting
  • Attendees user codes and passwords set up so they can sign off at the appropriate level
