CCH Audit Automation: BDE to SQL - Advanced Converter Consultancy

This single online session covers the new functionality of the SQL version and how best to apply to the requirements of the practice

Overview

This online single session covers the new functionality of the SQL version.  

Your consultant will discuss the below course contents ahead of your session.

Course Duration: This session will last up to 3 hours.

Key Objectives

To review how the practice has been using the product to date to identify potential ways of increasing efficiency and making best use of quality controls. 

Course Contents

Checking, B/fwd and updating previously converted data

  • Checking integrity of the client data in SQL
  • Balancing forward to new year in SQL
  • Updating to latest Master pack in SQL

 

New Functionality of SQL Version

  • Additional functionality courtesy of CCH Central
  • System level changes in CCH Audit
  • Client level changes in CCH Audit

Reviewing how system is currently being used

  • Identifying potential efficiency increases and optimising use of quality controls

 

Pre-requisites

Attendees should adhere to the Training session Guidelines.

All attendees should have a good understanding of the BDE version of CCH Audit and the existing audit procedures and policies of the practice.

Part of the session will be a review of how the practice has been using the software to date:

  • Select a couple of clients, ideally in completion status, that we can use to review how the software is currently being used .
  • We will need to use one of your computers to 'share' its screen so we can review how the software is currently being used. The computer we use will need to be running both BDE and SQL versions of the CCH Audit software as well as CCH Central. 

If also ordering the BDE to SQL Converter Consultancy course the gap between the two sessions should be at least one week.

Who is this course designed for? 

Representative(s) with Responsibility for the Running of the system - Part of the course is reviewing how the system is currently being run and identifying potential productivity gains so it is important that senior members of the audit team are involved with this 

Representative(s) who will be using the SQL system on a day to day basis  All end users who will be involved in using the SQL system for audit work

Although we should not require IT during this session it is essential they can be contacted in case they are needed. We may require access to your live system during the consultancy session and system admin rights in CCH Central to do this work.

 

Note: When combined with BDE to SQL Converter Consultancy this is available on site as two sessions.
