CCH Packs: Central Training

This CCH Central online training course is suitable for new users and provides a step by step guide to setting up, maintaining and using the Central database. This is a online interactive course designed to run for two sessions up to 3 hours each.

Overview

This course covers basic Central navigation, creating and updating clients and contacts information, producing clients and contacts mail merge (letters and emails) and creating and editing a basic Smart Report.

Key Objectives

To ensure that:

  • Delegates are able to create and update clients and contacts information
  • Delegates are able to associate clients and contacts and maintaining addresses
  • Delegates are able to run a mail merge and to create and edit a basic Smart Report

  • Completion of any outstanding main configuration
  • Central navigation, tabs, screen, grids and home pages
  • Using Find Clients and Find Contacts screen and the field chooser
  • How to update clients and contacts information
  • How to associate clients and contacts and maintain addresses
  • Show where to add a password to access CCH Central
  • Bulk update on fields and extra fields
  • Questions and answers
  • Recap
  • Questions arising from session one
  • Using the advanced search and lists
  • Saving searches
  • Running a Mail Merge for emails and letters
  • Running a Mail Merge for OneClick (if this licence has been acquired)
  • How to maintain templates
  • Understanding how Smart Reports screen works
  • Creating and editing basic Smart Reports

Pre-requisites

The SP Central implementation consultancy should have been taken place prior to this training.
