Installing CCH Central 2023.1
This release is installed using the Central Suite Installer. This ensures that all prerequisites are in place and that all the products for which you are licenced are installed in the correct sequence.

Software Enhancements
CCH Central preparation changes to enable linkage to CCH cloud software
The changes below have been undertaken to aid a future release that will allow Practices to link their CCH Central to our cloud software solution.
CCH Central Log-on window
The Login label within the CCH Central log-on window has been changed to read Central Login.
Employee > Main tab
The U/Name label within the Employee > Main tab has been updated to Central U/Name to advise that this is the Login used to access CCH Central when not using the Wolters Kluwer Account login.
Quality Improvements
ITS 66254 - CCH Reporting SQL error
Previously, when running various Reporting reports, a SQL generator error was being returned where the SQL query took over 10 minutes to return results. A change has been made within the ClientFramework.exe.config file where the Practice can specify the duration of the SQL timeout. Wolters Kluwer recommends that this timeout value is only changed in conjunction with a member of CCH Software Support.
