Updated Taxonomies
Although the updated taxonomies have been coded, we are unable to implement them in this release. Both HMRC and Companies House did not open the update portal for testing purposes until the end of March 2022; as you will appreciate it was not possible to test the Taxonomies in time for the release date.
Software Enhancements
Licence updates
Updated Companies House submission count warning message
Following feedback from our customers we have updated the Companies House Submission Licence count warning; this is now triggered when the remaining licenses reach 25 rather than 10. This ensures sufficient advance warning of the remaining licence count running out.
Note: Where users have less than 25 licenses (even those whose total license is 25 or less), the warning is consistently triggered. We recommend that all users are reminded to close the message before continuing.
Review & Tag Licence now stored with CCH Central
The licence store for users that run CCH iXBRL Review & Tag from a Central installation has been incorporated within the Central licencing module.
On the first launch after update to 2022.1 the licence details and count are written to the main database. On launching each user’s instance of CCH iXBRL Review & Tag the licence is checked with the central store and is used to calculate the user and submission count.
Following the moving of the licence to the SQL database, some users may be asked to enter their Companies House filing credentials. After this has happened it is necessary to restart Central, Review and Tag and the CCH Central Service. This only needs to be done once.
Note: For standalone installations the licence store is unchanged.
