CCH Corporation Tax 2022.3 Service Pack 2: Release Notes
Overview
This release of Corporation Tax includes the following:
- Formula change for Box L65 of Form CT600L
- Changes to the disclosure of WDA (SBA) for different trade types

Prerequisites
This release is installed using the Central Suite Installer. This ensures that all prerequisites are in place and that all the products for which you are licenced are installed in the correct sequence. Click here to learn about the Central Suite Installer.
Software Enahncements
Validation for Box L65 on Form CT600L
We have updated the formula for Box L65. The return would not validate if the company made a claim for RDEC and the RDEC tax claim was offset against the Corporation tax liability for the period leaving a small balance of the tax credit to be available.
SBA disclosure on CT600
If a claim for Structures and Buildings Allowance claim is made for non-trades, the Writing down allowance was appearing in Box 711 and we have updated this to ensure it now appears in Box 736.
CT600 Box 850 was including Brought forward values
We have updated the Value reported in Box 850 to remove any brought forward values that may appear in this box.
Note: As a result of this change, any returns submitted since 2017 are automatically updated; any relevant returns where the IR Mark has been generated but not yet submitted requires the IRMark to be regenerated. It is not necessary to submit an amended return for this change.
Notable Issues
Surrender of RDEC tax credits between Group Companies
It has come to our attention that there are validation issues when RDEC Tax credits have been surrendered to group companies. We are currently investigating this.
