Licensing for CCH iXBRL Review & Tag
For users of CCH iXBRL Review and Tag and CCH Central
Change to licence location from 2022.1 release
The licence store for users that run CCH iXBRL Review & Tag from a Central installation has been incorporated within the Central licencing module.
On the first launch after update to 2022.1 the licence details and count are written to the main database.
On launching each user’s instance of CCH iXBRL Review & Tag the licence is checked with the central store and is used to calculate the user and submission count.
Following the moving of the licence to the SQL database, some users may be asked to enter their Companies House filing credentials.
After this has happened it is necessary to restart Central, Review and Tag and the CCH Central Service.
On the first occasion that you run the software and every time that the licence expires, you need to download the PIN.
To download the Pin, within CCH Central, select File, Help, About, Pin Management
Then select Download
You will now need to log back ionto CCH Central, and select File, Accounts, IXBRL Review & Tag
Select OK
For iXBRL Review & Tag standalone users
You will need system adminstratior access to perform this.
Right click on the CCH iXBRL Review & Tag desktop icon
Select Open File Location
Press R on the keyboard and open the ReviewAndTagSettings application file by double clicking on it.
Select Yes (with system adminstrator access)
Selecting the Licensing tab and enter the Client code and password you have been given.
Then select Download Pin.
Make a note of when the license is valid until as you will need to download the licence again prior to that date.
Companies House Submissions Licence Count
Within the Licensing tab of the Review & Tag Settings.exe file desxribed above, the Companies House Submissions licence count is shown;
