Setting up Assignment Data Security
The Assignment Data Security window lets you specify access to assignments based on the employee's Primary Stationed Record, i.e., you can restrict access to assignments by employees who belong to the same company, office, department or centre.
Set up Assignment Data Security

On the main menu, click Maintenance > Security > Assignment Data Security.

In the Assignment Data Security window, to restrict access to employees who belong to the same company, select the Company check box.

To restrict access to employees who belong to the same office location, select the Office check box.

To restrict access to employees who belong to the same department, select the Department check box.

To restrict access to employees who belong to the same centre, select the Centre check box.
Note
You can select any number of options. If all the options are selected, only employees belonging to the same company, office, department and centre can access the assignment.

Click OK to save the settings and close the window.
