Set up a Department

How to set up a Department with CCH Central

Department is used to represent the different areas that carry out the work in the practice. You can setup the departments in the system to identify them when you produce reports.

  1. On the main menu click File > Maintenance > Internal > Department.
  2. In the Departments window, in the blank row at the top of the table, enter the Department Name. To modify an existing name, edit the text directly.
  3. Enter a unique Department Code. To modify an existing code, edit the text directly.
  4. Press [Enter].
  5. To set up additional departments, repeat steps 2 to 4.
  6. Click Buttom OK.PNG to save the information and close the window.
