Checking for Outstanding Tests and Questions

This section describes how to check for Outstanding Tests and Questions.

During the course of the audit you may wish to check how things are progressing. Quick check facilities are provided from the Planning menu to allow you to view a list of the number of audit tests that are still to be completed and the number of checklist questions still to be answered. Both lists also show the number of uncleared notes there are in each area.

To view oustanding tests

To view the list of tests outstanding, select the Reference menu and click on [Summary] button.
Then click on Tests outstanding button on the following screen:

The system will scan the audit programmes and display the Outstanding audit tests window.

Outstanding audit tests

The list shows each audit area, the audit programmes recorded for the area, the number of tests still to complete and the number of uncleared notes in respect of each. You may scroll through the list using the scroll bar, and view any audit programme by double clicking on its name, or highlighting it and clicking on [View OS tests]. On selecting a programme to view, the system will compile the programme and display the Audit programme completion window. You are now free to scroll through the outstanding tests, enter test completion, and use all the features of this window, as described from page 188.

To view outstanding questions

To view the list of questions outstanding, select the Reference menu and [Summary].
Then click on Questions outstanding button on the following screen:

The system will scan the checklists and display the Outstanding checklist questions window.

The list shows each audit area, the checklists recorded for the area, the number of questions still to answer and the number of uncleared notes in respect of each. You may scroll through the list using the scroll bar, and view any checklist by double clicking on its name, or highlighting it and clicking on [View OS questions]. On selecting a checklist to view, the system will compile the checklist and display the Checklist completion window. You are now free to scroll through the outstanding questions and answer them, and use all the features of this window, as described from page
