Default Text Documents
On selecting one of the standard predefined text documents from either the permanent file or a menu, the system will look to see if the document exists for the client and, if it does, load it for edit. If no document exists for the client, the system will look to see if there is a default document stored in the master pack and load that. If no default is loaded, it will present a blank document for edit. The default may be used to present masks of information that the user can follow when entering data. The CCH masters contain masks for all text documents.
To edit or create the defaults, load the master pack for editing and choose the Word processor option on the Master pack index. The system will launch either PROword or MS Word based on the settings in system options.
You may now open the default to be edited, or type the default and save it with the appropriate name. For a full explanation of how to use PROword, refer to the reference manual. The names of the default documents used by CCH Audit Automation are as follows:
