CCH Central
CCH Central provides all the functionality of a contact system, plus additional productivity tools to manage the client relationship and other vital practice data, for example, employee and reporting information. These features are designed to help manage client and contact information, organise CRM tasks, and manage practice resources. It also provides a platform for other CCH applications which extend functionality to carry out full practice management, accounts production or tax processes.

- Working with Contacts and Clients
- Every person or entity that the practice comes into contact with should have a record created for them in the database. The database is made up of contacts and clients, all of whom have some sort of interaction with the practice.
- Assignments
- CCH Practice Management helps you carry out work for a client within a structured and organised system that allows for descriptive and accurate entry of WIP. This benefits you and your practice in the recording of information, encouraging a time-efficient and accurate billing process, and increased reporting flexibility. You can also easily keep your clients up to date because you know the type and cost of the work being carried out through Assignments which is one of the work units.
- Employees
- The employees are the users of CCH, through their login, if they are authorised, they can post timesheet, bills and access other modules of the system.
- Maintenance
- The Maintenance menu allows you to configure and maintain the system to best fit how your practice works.
- Maintenance: User Defined
- The options under File > Maintenance > User Defined allows the system administrator to create extra fields, reports categories and setup other master configuration to tailor CCH to the practice's requirements.
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in CCH Central
- The General Data Protection Regulation sets a new standard in the protection and control of personal data. To have more control over client data while ensuring the transparency of operations, CCH Central provides a set of simple features that can help organisations meet GDPR requirements.
- Support Group
- Located within the main menu Support > Support Group, it provides Central users with quick access to key support functionality without having to access the Support Website separately.
- CCH Backup and Restore Utility
- CCH Backup and Restore Utility gives users the tools to create and maintain maintenance plans for their CCH Central and Document Databases.
