 Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

[There will be two Winners, each of an Apple iPad Wifi 64Gb Space Grey] 

  1. To enter the prize draw you must: (i) have received an email invitation containing the link to the survey from us; (ii) respond to the survey while open; and (iii) add your contact details where indicated upon completing the survey.
  2. By submitting the survey, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, copies of which are available on the email invitation. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. Entries through agents or third parties are invalid.
  3. The draw is open to the Promoter’s customers and prospects that meet the eligibility criteria. Entry to the draw will close promptly at 17:30 on Tuesday 1 March 2022 and no entries shall be accepted after this time.  Only one entry per person will be accepted. No purchase is necessary.   
  4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
  5. The prize consists of an Apple iPad Wifi 64Gb Space Grey worth approximately £320. The prize must be accepted as offered (including in respect of any additional terms and conditions applicable to the prize including those of the prize provider or manufacturer) and it cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or other item of value whether in whole or in part. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion substitute cash value for the prize or offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. The prize excludes all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize. Additional charges and expenses incurred for goods, services, facilities, upgrades etc., not expressly included in the prize are payable solely by the winner.
  6. Two winners will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process or supervised by an independent party, from all valid entries on Wednesday 2 March 2022. The Promoter will endeavour to make contact with the winner within 14 days of the draw date by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) and mutually agree the date and/or method of prize collection/delivery. 
  7. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 5 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  8. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the identity of the winner. If the Promoter is not reasonably satisfied with the identification form provided by the winner, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion disqualify that person and draw another winner from all valid entries.  The decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
  9. The Promoter will send the name and county of the winner to anyone who writes within 1 month after the draw closing date requesting details of the winner and who encloses a self-addressed envelope to  Marketing, Wolters Kluwer UK, 145 London Road, Kingston upon Thames, KT2 6SR.
  10. The Promoter hereby reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate this prize draw if necessary due to any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage (including without limitation indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits or business opportunity), or expense which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from the Promoter’s negligence) in connection with this prize draw or the prize awarded, except for any liability which cannot be excluded or limited as a matter of law in which case that liability shall be limited to the minimum extent lawfully permitted. The Promoter, will not be liable where a prize has been lost, damaged or stolen following collection/ delivery and such prize will not be replaced.
  11. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, exclude entrants from participating in the draw.
  12. Personal data supplied during the course of this prize draw will be processed as set out in the Promoter's Privacy Notice a copy of which is available at https://www.wolterskluwer.co.uk/privacy-notice/
  13.  These Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
