PINs: updating your PIN on Renewal, adding products and/or users

Your PIN defines which products you have available in your CCH Suite, and how many users or licences.  A new PIN adds new products or users to your CCH Suite.

Your PIN is typically valid for one year and will be updated at renewal, when a new PIN will be made available - CCH Central will inform you when it's time to download a new PIN.  However, should you add additional products or users then your PIN will be updated at the point of purchase, and you will need to download your new PIN for the changes to be reflected.

When downloading the PIN yourself, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Launch CCH Central and select the File > Help > About
  2. Click on the 'PIN Management' hyperlink
  3. Select the 'Download' button and click OK
  4. Log out and back in again for the changes to take effect.

If you are unable to download a new PIN yourself via CCH Central, then you can request for your PIN to be sent as an email attachment either by logging a case in the Support Portal or via uk-taa.licencerequest@wolterskluwer.com

Once you receive your PIN as an email attachment, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Save the PIN file (that you've been sent) to a local drive on your computer
  2. Launch CCH Central and select File > Help > About
  3. Click on the 'PIN Management' hyperlink
  4. Select the 'Import' button and navigate to the saved .PIN file
  5. Log out and back in again for the changes to take effect.
