Overview

The foundational deployment of CCH Central comprises several layers, influenced by the acquired license and the necessary functionality.

Please refer to the Configuration A diagram above for a cross-sectional illustration.

Cloud Services

CCH One Click, when acquired, constitutes a collection of cloud-based applications and services. These applications facilitate communication and synchronisation with CCH Central, while also enabling your clients to access their personal secure workspace through a branded portal.

CCH iFirm, when acquired, serves as your portal to a more efficient and scalable accountancy practice. Embrace the capabilities of our adaptable cloud solution, specifically designed to facilitate your growth as you expand your practice. Enhancing your work processes, allowing for improved visibility, collaboration, and execution of various tasks. Additionally, it seamlessly integrates with CCH Central.

CCH Central

CCH Central is a comprehensive suite of software and services that, driven by licensing, offers various solutions related to accounting, document management, taxation, time tracking, fees, and additional functionalities.

  • CCH Central, when deployed on Microsoft Server(s), can be implemented either on-premises or through a cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure or an equivalent service.
  • The Microsoft SQL Database(s) associated with CCH Central, along with the application data and services, may be hosted on a single server or distributed across multiple servers.
  • The use of Microsoft .NET versions 3.5 and 4.8 is mandatory.
  • Microsoft SQL Server, along with the SQL Filestream feature, is required; however, Microsoft SQL Standard or Enterprise editions are not provided when deemed necessary.

CCH KPI Monitoring

CCH KPI Monitoring, a database reporting solution, necessitates the use of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS). It is recommended that this solution be installed on a server where Microsoft IIS is not being utilised for additional functions; however, it’ is capable of coexisting with other components of the licensed CCH installation.

End User Access

CCH Central can be deployed and accessed from end user Laptops or Workstations, from Microsoft RDS (or similar) or from Microsoft AVD (or similar).

  • Each deployment style has a suggested style of installation for accessibility, speed, and stability.
  • Microsoft .NET v3.5 & v4.8 are mandatory.
