The CCH Central Suite is a multifaceted application consisting of numerous modules and dependencies on Microsoft technologies. This section summarises what is included as part of the installation service, no matter what size your business. Contact your account manager with any queries on the services provided and requirements specific to your business.

Structurally the CCH Central Suite comprises of a program folder, one or two databases and a number of services. Precisely how many databases and services is dependent on the products you are licensed for.

As part of our installation service, our consultant will discuss and plan the deployment of the CCH Suite across your business. Considering your requirements, impact of downtime, system availability, licenced modules and best practices available whilst formulising a plan for deployment.  

Note: Due to the nature of this service, and requirements specific to your business downtime on existing business sytems will need to be factored into delivery schedules.

Once the service is complete you will receive an installation report for your records.

The installation process can be broken down into three key steps, the details within each stage will vary based on each project with responsibilities shared with customers own IT support.

Pre-Installation
  • Review of current infrastructure

Server Side
  • Verification of environment and prerequisites to ensure compatibility
  • Validation of resources to optimise performance
  • Deploying or configuring exisitng Microsoft SQL Server to accept CCH Central Suite databases
  • Configuration and optimisation of SQL Server
  • Deployment and configuration of key software files
  • Deployment and configuration of companion files
  • Configuration of end user methodology
End User Side
  • Configuration of end user deployment methodology
  • Deployment to key workstations
  • Deployment to Terminal Server/Remote Desktop Servers
  • Advise on and configure process to assist office wide deployment
