2022.3 Service Pack 2 - 13 Dec

  • CCH Audit Automation: Master pack update and quality improvements
  • CCH Central: Fixing a compatibility issue between CCH iXBRL Review and Tag and CCH Central that prevented licensing CCH iXBRL Review and Tag in some cases
  • CCH CGT & Dividend Scheduling: Matching for type 2 and type 5 stocks
  • CCH Corporation Tax: Capital allowances, Plant and Machinery and Structures and Buildings Allowance, change in formula for completion of Box 850 eSign: this release supports eSign multiple signatories as well as changes to document approval. This release also include a database performance fix
  • CCH Personal Tax: Fix for Disclosure Notes and IR Mark generation
  • CCH Practice Management: ePay (electronic payment of invoices via a link in the bill)
  • OCR Service: ABBYY 12 64-bit upgrade
  • Central Suite Installer (CSI): Update to CCH Portal Service during upgrade and a Retain DBConnectionKey update

2022.3 Service Pack 1 - 21 Oct

  • CCH Audit Automation : the loading of the audit tests from Key controls, area risk assessment and customise procedure area has been fixed

2022.3 Release - 30 Sep

  • CCH Accounts Production: Minor fixes and enhancements
  • CCH Audit Automation: Updates to the risk model and risk assessment for ISA 315. Latest Master Pack updates.
  • CCH Central: Update the Advanced search within 'Find Assignments' and update the Central Web Browser control
  • Central Suite Installer (CSI): Upgrade the ABBYY license from v10 to v12 as well as updating to the latest version of Adobe XI and Reader XI
  • CCH Company Secretarial: The launcher icon within CCH Central is being updated
  • CCH Corporation Tax: Introduce the updated RIM artefacts, CT600M and changes for Capital Allowances.
  • eSign: when a document is eSigned the document will then be uploaded into CCH Document Management. CCH Document Management: Minor fixes and enhancements
  • CCH Personal Tax: Enhancements and Bug fixes, updated Information Request letters for 2023, new Capital Allowances for Zero Emission cars and Freeport structures and Buildings allowance
  • CCH Practice Management: Fix for the Direct Debit function
  • CCH Scan: Upgrade the Scan license
  • CCH Workflow: Fix to the assignment manager
  • CCH Working Papers: Prevents the order of nodes becoming incorrect

2022.2 Service Pack 2 - 03 Aug

  • Central Suite Installer (CSI): For SQL Server 2019 customers, update the CLR security certificate
  • CCH Corporation Tax: Update the signing of the CLT assemblies and Certificates. Bring in the patent box rates for 2022 and 2023.
  • CCH Accounts Production: Remove CLR assemblies, a fix to the water mark when outputting accounts to Microsoft Word as well as a fix for saving to pdf.
  • CCH Personal Tax: Includes a performance enhancement to the database upgrade routine for large datasets.

2022.2 Release - 04 Jul
  • CCH Accounts Production: includes the annual update to Academies and improved saving of accounts to .pdf.
  • CCH Central: a number of small fixes and security enhancements.
  • CCH CGT and Dividend Scheduling: this release resolves a share matching issue on the calculation of gains on certain types of stock where there are same days disposals and reinvestments with 30 days of disposal
  • CCH Corporation Tax: we have implemented the  enhanced import/export and improvements to the zoom functionality. we have started the Freeport SBA work and S455 changes but due to the missing RIM artefacts we are not releasing these elements.
  • Central Suite Installer (CSI): from this release onwards, the CSI will not proceed to install if the version of SQL Server is 2012.
  • Data Collection: an issue has been fixed when a user is unable to send a Data request due to a UK Furnished Holiday Let having a loss.
  • CCH Document Management: .PDF generation from multiple documents into a single document allows the user to specify the order the documents should be added to the pdf. Also, the ability to restrict file types uploaded to CCH Document Management based on file extension.
  • Messages and Documents: resize the new message window in Central and we have updated the ReminderPendingApprovalNotification template to include the Client Code and Organisation Name.
  • CCH Personal Tax: this resolves the Compliance items relating to 3rd party add-ins, Specials and Exclusions, R185E changes, re-instating the Agent Silent Log in and improvements to the zoom functionality as well as quality improvements.
  • CCH Practice Management: direct debit flag on bills allows firms to track bills predicted to be paid by this method.
  • CCH iXBRL Review & Tag: this includes the retirement of the 2018 Taxonomies, the introduction of the 2022 Taxonomies, as well as quality improvements
  • CCH Workflow: roll forward of Jobs now takes account of any pre-existing Jobs rather than simply creating a new one every time. Fixes to email by smtp also included.
  • CCH Working Papers: fixes for the Full accounts not saved within Working Papers, Home page Tool box customisation and an update to the working pagers designer

2022.1 Service Pack 2 - 29 Apr
  • CCH Corporation Tax: Update to fix an online filing issue where the CT600 includes a Research and Development claim, CT600L for all years and retirement of RIM Artefacts V1.96
  • CCH Central Suite Installer (CSI): Update to CLR strict security for SQL Server 2019
  • CCH Audit Automation: Fix to 'Balance Forward' issue

2022.1 Release - 04 Apr
  • CCH Accounts Production:
    - Compatibility with release of Open Integration for CCH Accounts Production as a Bookkeeping System to bring more years data into finsit.
    - An option to hide inactive Statutory Database nodes, partly to simplify the Statutory Database for Cloud CCH Accounts Production users.
    - Masterpack updates.
  • CCH Audit Automation:
    - Minor quality improvements
    - MS document addon
  • CCH Central: allow email/mail merges based on Reporting filters for calculated fields. Fix assignment search bugs. Update database compatibility level to SQL 2014 and sign CLR assemblies (advanced search etc) for SQL 2017/19 security
  • CCH CGT and Dividend Scheduling: version of Aspose change
  • CCH Corporation Tax: an update including the following but not restricted to
    - Changes to Capital Allowances (AIA and SBA)
    - Updated to forms CT600L
    - New RIM artefacts version 1.97
  • CCH Company Secretarial: limiting the sync with Companies House to a one-way sync for new users to avoid inaccurate data being imported into Central from Companies House.
  • Central Suite Installer (CSI): Enhancements to support SQL Server 2019 as well as End of Life support for SQL Server 2012
  • Digital Data Request:  - no changes in CCH Central. We will be updating the Digital Data Review (DDR) within CCH OneClick.
  • CCH Document Management: bug fixes
  • CCH Personal Tax:  The annual compliance release including but not restricted to:
    - Updated Forms: SA100, SA800, SA900, R40 and R185
    - Updated Computations
    - Updated Expat Functionality
    - End dating of fixed 'exclusions'
    - Help sheets
    - Worksheets
    - Updates for Capital Allowances
    - Updated Information Request Letter Templates
  • CCH Practice Management: Group deletion release to a subset of customers. Various bug fixes
  • CCH iXBRL Review & Tag: updated Taxonomies and changes to the extended print view, improvements to the licensing functionality including the migration to SQL
  • Workflow:  minor fix to home page reporting
  • Telekurs Data Feed: support for SIX Financial's new SFTP site for data delivery
  • Messages and Documents - we are hiding the unused templates in the email templates screen.
  • eSign - we plan to address any feedback we get that will improve the user experience.
  • CCH Trust Accounts : Bug fixes
  • CCH SecTAX: Bug fixes

CCH OneClick Releases - 2022

Release 5.6.5  -

Release 5.6.0 - 08 July
  • Data Collection: Fixed RRT escalation when a status is being updated the changes are not saved. This was due to the way that the spouse details were being saved. We have also addressed a high priority pen test item.
  • Messages & Documents: To support the changes made to ReminderPendingApprovalNotification template to add the Organisation Name and Client Code in the 2022.2 release.
  • CCH OneClick: An issue had been identified in the way the AAA data was not being correctly removed when an employee had been suspended. This has been fixed.
  • Sync worker script changes: A new definition has been added 3.61 which support will manage with clients e.g. for a few customers this change means that closed clients, closed assignments and ex-employees data will no longer be synched.

Release 5.5.9 - 16 June
  • CCH OneClick: this release is to ensure when a tab is closed the session is cleared / reset (for Customers that use SSO and have customisable tiles which open up in separate tabs)
  • Open Integration: When Sage 50 is connected to Open Integration, the opening balances were not being brought from Open Integration into CCH Accounts Production

Release 5.5.8 - 05 May
  • MTDfV: Adding extra "Fraud Prevention Headers" to the electronic VAT submissions to further improve compliance with HMRC requirements. This change is not visible to users.
  • DDR: Allowing the ability for End-Clients to enter and filter data within Digital Data Request summary and allowing the ability for Advisers to Export to Excel data from Digital Data Review summary.
  • Single Sign Out: Re-enabling and linking to Log-out synchronously from CCH OneClick, Messages & Documents, and Making Tax Digital for VAT.
  • Billing & Usage: Fix for the ClientMetering table to correct include Clients who only have CVS (Client VAT Submissions) assigned to them within a Practice.

Release 5.5.7 - 1 Apr
  • Open Integration: Accounts Production as a Bookkeeping System will be extended to bring in 5yrs of data from CCH Accounts Production (previously 1yr) making the data more useful for analysis in 'finsit' - CCH Accounts Production 2022.1 is required. If ready, the link from 'Sage 50' to 'Open integration' will be included. (iSaaS made their UAT environment available to us on 14/03/22.)
