CCH Telekurs 2.50

Release Highlights

These Release Notes document the changes in v2.50 of the CCH Telekurs software which is used by some firms in conjunction with CCH SecTAX or CCH Trust Accounts.

The CCH Telekurs data feed is supplied by SIX Financial and the CCH Telekurs software reads this data into CCH SecTAX or CCH Trust Accounts, creating for each security, a 'security history' of dividends and other corporate actions. This data can be applied to any client by using the Autopost function which generates the investment income records relevant to the client, saving time on data entry. The CCH Telekurs software only needs to be installed if you subscribe to the Telekurs data feed.

This release includes the following:

Software Enhancements

After installing CCH Trust Accounts or CCH SecTAX 2020.1

We look at CCH Trust Accounts 2020.1 before discussing CCH SecTAX. After installing CCH Trust Accounts 2020.1 and setting up a full connection string you must go into the Data Feed option in CCH Trust Accounts:

1. Run QTRUMP32.EXE from the CCH Trust Accounts programs folder
2. Select Data Feed on the left tool bar
3. The Data Feed screen should appear
4. Now exit the Data Feed screen and also exit CCH Trust Accounts

The reason for performing this step is that when you go into the Data Feed option, CCH Trust Accounts reads the connection string and saves it to the Registry. This means that it is available to
the Telekurs feed if you subsequently run TKGet.exe standalone, without going into CCH Trust Accounts first.

Exactly the same procedure applies to SecTAX except that the executable is called WSECMP32.EXE and it resides in the CCH SecTAX programs folder.
