HMRC: how to proceed with a test submission

Once you generate the XML file and cleared the errors, it is possible to proceed with a test submission to HMRC to make sure the XML is valid for HMRC.

In order to proceed with the test submission, make sure your HMRC gateway credentials are recorded within iXBRL Review and Tag Settings.

From the ribbon bar click on the icon HMRC test submission as below.
