2019.1 - Missing gilt prices
In July 2017, the production of reference prices for gilts and STRIPS was outsourced by the Debt Management Office to FTSE-Tradeweb. This means that the price fields in the Exshare feed no longer contain gilt prices. FTSE-Tradeweb gilt prices are expensive. So instead, the Exshare feed has been modified to contain the LSE Last Trade prices for gilts. These come at no extra cost, but do not cover all gilts, especially STRIPS. The first file to contain this new gilt prices was the February 2019 file.
If you load this release after 5th April 2019, you may wish to rerun the 5th April Exshare feed file and any subsequent files in order to get 5th April gilt prices.
