How to set up a Partner with CCH Practice Management
Set up a Partner
- On the main menu, click Maintenance > Internal > Partner.
- In the Partners window, click in the blank Employee field.
- A drop down
arrow and Ellipsis
button appears.
- Click the drop down arrow to select a partner or find the employee (partner) using the browse button.
- Press [Enter]. The name appears in the list.
- To add additional partners, repeat steps 2 to 4.
- When you have finished, click OK to save the changes and close the Partners window.
Deleting a Partner
- On the main menu, click Maintenance > Internal > Partner.
- In the Partners window, select the tow of the partner you want to delete.
Note: You cannot delete partners who are being used by the system. If you try to delete a partner who is associated with clients, suppliers or employees, an error message is displayed.
- Press the [Delete] key and then click Yes when prompted to confirm the delete action.
- The partner is deleted.
- Click OK to save the changes and close the Partners window.
