CCH Statement Designer

CCH Statement Designer enables automation, editing and management of statements.

Maintenance Windows

Formats Updater   

Select Browse.  Navigate to the backups folder.

Select Update.

Modify an Existing Statement

Select Maintenance -> Tax settings -> Statement Designer -> Modify Statements:

Select the Collection Name (Tax year) to be updated.  Highlight the report.  Select Open Format:

Layout, text, formatting, Styles & Data Dictionary items are available for update.

Formatting Statements is a advanced feature for which training is recommended.

Reorder Statements

Select the Collection Name (Tax Year).  Highlight the schedule to be reordered.

Select Move up or Move down as appropriate, or Revert to default order.

Changes are not stored until Save is selected.

The Task Permissions are used to restrict the users ability to access and edit CCH Statement Designer.  By default they are set to not Allow.

Accessing the Task Permissions

  1. Go to Maintenance > Security > Task Permissions to open the Task Permissions window.
  2. Change the Product to Personal Tax.
  3. Select a Group.
  4. Review and update the Task Permissions.

Themes are used to set the default fonts and styles for Statement Designer.

Working with Themes 

Personal Tax Theme has been created for Statement Designer to set the font and styles required:

To update fonts for the Theme, select Set all Fonts from the Task Bar.

Select Page Setup from the Task Bar to set continuation messages and footer information:
