Connecting a business to a data source

Connecting a business to a data source (without connecting to finsit)

  1. Click onto the relevant business (this example displays connecting to Xero bookkeeping as a data source)

2. Click Connect

By default Bookkeeping product is selected

Note: would you like to connect this business to finsit is only visible if your practice is licensed for finsit.

3. Click Next 

4. Select Xero from the list of Bookkeeping Products

5. Click Connect

This will launch the external Xero account

6. Select the relevant organisation from the list

7. Click on Allow access

8. Click on Finish

Note: for Sage Business Cloud, Twinfield, Exact and FreeAgent a further step is included within the wizard to select the client.

  • Click on Connect

  • Click on Allow

  • Select the client
  • Click on Save
