PIN Management

The PIN Management screen is used to load a new PIN. It is found under main menu File > Help > About > PIN Management.

It is only available to users with the Task Permission Central # Maintenance # Help @Can Enter PIN.

The buttons on the Pin Management screen are:

Update: Used to change the CCH client code and password. These are supplied by CCH when the system is first installed and do not usually need changing.

Download: Downloads a PIN from CCH across the internet. Downloading a PIN takes a few seconds.

Import: Allows a user to import a PIN from a PIN file. A PIN file are sometimes provided by CCH if there is a problem using the Download option or for an evaluation PIN.
