Extra Field Groups

Custom and add Extra Field Groups to compile information from extra fields into categories to enable better visualition and also to setup its security level. For example: you can create an Extra Group for Payroll which will contains the extra fields related to Payroll information. You can then setup the security level to restrict or hide the Payroll group to any security group.
Setting up Extra Field Groups

On the main menu, click File > Maintenance > User Defined > Extra Field Groups.

In the blank row at the top of grid, enter the name of the Extra Field Group.
To modify the category name, edit the text directly. -
Press the [Enter] key from the keyboard.

Repeat the steps 1 to 3 to create more Extra Field Groups.

When you have finished setting up Extra Field Group, click OK to save the changes and close the window.
Deleting Extra Field Groups
- On the main menu, click Maintenance > User Defined > Extra Field Groups.
- To select the extra field group to delete, click the blue margin cell next to it.
- When the line is highlighted, press the [Delete] key on your keyboard.
- If the extra field group is in use the following message appears to prevent the deletion.
- If the system allows the deletion, the extra field group is deleted straight away.
- If you have finished working on the Extra Field Groups window, click OK to save the changes and close window.
