How to Set Up a Centre in CCH Central

Use a centre if the practice wants more detailed reporting. A centre may be a geographically defined area, for example, Europe or Australasia, or a business related area such as Tax Processing.

  1. On the main menu, click File > Maintenance > Internal > Centres.
  2. On the Centres window, in the blank row at the top of the table, enter the Centre Name. To modify an existing name, edit the text directly.
  3. Enter the Centre Code. The code must be unique. To modify an existing code, edit the code directly.
  4. To set up additional centres, press [Enter] and repeat steps 2 to 3.
  5. When you have finished setting up centres, click Buttom OK.PNG to save the information and close the Centres window.
