Linking an Assignment Template to a Product
Linking an Assignment Template to a Product activates the user’s ability to link a Tax Return or a Set of Accounts to a job within the 'Add Job/Schedule' window.
To link an Assignment Template to a product click File > Maintenance > Assignment > Assignment Templates and select the Product from the drop-down list:
Where CCH Personal Tax, CCH Accounts Production and CCH Corporation Tax are installed, the following Products are available within Product drop down list:
Setting the Product
Setting a Product within the Assignment Templates screen activates the user’s ability to link a Tax Return or a Set of Accounts to a job within the 'Add Job/Schedule' window.
Removing the Product
To remove a product from an Assignment Template, select the empty cell within Product drop-down list.
The following message is returned when removing a Product from an Assignment Template and Tax Returns or Set of Accounts are linked to jobs:
