Ability to mark Department as Inactive

Practices can now mark redundant Departments as Inactive. By ticking the InActive tick box, the associated Department is no longer available for selection within any of the Find Department windows or Department dropdowns.

The inactive Department is still displayed on the relevant Contact, Client, Employee, Assignment or Supplier until the user makes a change of Department.

You can access the following screen by selecting the Menu File>Maintenance>Internal>Department

Note: You cannot put inactive all the departments you do not need. There must be at least one department in the practice using CCH Central.
