Payments to a Trade Union for death benefits

You can claim tax relief for the part of your trade union subscription, or premiums paid to friendly society that entitles you to a pension, life assurance, funeral benefits, or death benefits. You should enter these payments on the Payments to a Trade Union for death benefits tab. Note: Specific criteria must be met and you should refer to box 15.10 in the Tax Return Guide for further information.
