The Responsibility tab
The Responsibility tab on the Supplier page is where you create and maintain Partner Responsibility and Structure Responsibility within your organisation in relation to a particular supplier. These responsibilities are attached to suppliers for reporting purposes. This is also where you record and maintain the Team of employees who will perform various functions related to the supplier.
Note: the master list of team member responsibilities is set up by the system administrator in the back office via: Maintenance>Team Responsibility Types.... Only one of each team responsibility type can be used per supplier unless your system administrator has designated a role as being available for multiple use.
To add a new team member or partner, click in the relevant entry field at the top of one of the lists, then click the Find button . Select the employee you require from the Find window that opens. You can then allocate to them a particular responsibility or role for the supplier.
The practice structure is divided into:
- Department
- Office
- Company
Each of these fields has a drop-down list or Find window attached that is displayed when you click in the field.
