Overview

Prior to this consultancy the Firm's decision makers for CCH Trust Accounts will have attended the CCH Trust Accounts Practice Formats Consultancy to agree upon their requriements of these sessions, which aim to provide users of CCH Trust Accounts with an in-depth understanding of the CCH Accounts Production Format Designer used to produce the accounts from CCH Trust Accounts. 

The sessions will be hands on using a client to assist in making format changes for the firm.

It is recommended that the attendees of this course are those who will be creating and maintaining the Trust Accounts formats.

Key Objectives

  • To understand the accounts format designer used with CCH Trust Accounts
  • To create Practice Masters for the CCH Trust entity 
  • To apply the format changes to a test client. This will include the new master pack being applied to each client and then publishing the master pack.

Course Contents

Session one Session two
  • The actual course content will have been agreed with your CCH Consultant during the formats consultancy.  This may cover: 
    • Creating new formats using the Format Designer
    • Using the Statutory Database to provide client specific content
    • Working with Collections
    • Using notes and cross referencing to pages
    • Setting Investment Schedule profiles
  • Continuing from session one to create new practice formats using the Format Designer
  • Setting up the contents page
  • Adding practice formats at a master level
  • Adding practice specific paragraphs at a master level
  • Applying Styles and Themes if required
  • Testing the new practice version of the master pack
  • Publishing the practice master pack

Pre-requisites

The Firm's decision makers for CCH Trust Accounts will have attended the CCH Trust Accounts Practice Formats Consultancy.

Attendees should adhere to the Training session Guidelines.

All users should have completed the Data Entry and CCH Accounts Production Formatter training.

Who is this course designed for?

New and existing users of CCH Trust Accounts, and anyone responsible for the presentation of Trust Accounts where more time is required assisting in the writing of the formats.
