This course is designed to give delegates a good understanding of how to use the Pension Scheme formats with CCH Accounts Production. 

Key Objectives

  • To provide users with an understanding of how to setup a pension scheme client
  • To ensure that users understand the nominal ledger structure
  • To provide users with an understanding of how to post the trial balance
  • To provide users with an understanding of how to setup and post to defined contribution, defined benefit and hybrid schemes
  • To provide users with an understanding of how to enter information into the statutory database, and how certain areas are disclosed

Course Contents

  • Set-up the accounting period
  • Overview of the nominal ledger structure
  • Work through examples of how to post transactions for a defined contribution scheme, a defined benefit scheme and a hybrid scheme if applicable

Pre-requisites

Attendees should adhere to the Training session Guidelines.

All attendees should have a good understanding of CCH Central
