Prerequisites
Installing CCH Central 2022.2
This release is installed using the Central Suite Installer. This ensures that all prerequisites are in place and that all the products for which you are licenced are installed in the correct sequence.

Software Enhancements
Microsoft Office 2022
As part of this release, we have tested our CCH Central suite of products against MS Office 2022 and can confirm that CCH Central 2022.2 is compatible with Office 2022.
Additional Contact/Client/Employee restrictions
Due to security vulnerabilities that have been identified within CCH Central, additional restrictions have been included within this release around the use of the (=) sign when applied against the code or names field. If the (=) sign is used within any of these fields, whether in the creation or amending of the record the stop symbol is shown , and when hovered over, an explanation of is shown.

Smart Reports - New field - Disabled Login
A new field called Disabled Login has been added to the reporting group Employee Security Groups. Found under Smart Reports > Employee > Employee Security Groups. This new field shows a True status if the listed employee has the Disable Login checked or a False status if the tick box is NOT checked within the Employee Main Tab.
Central.WhatsNew.dll security vulnerabilities
To reduce potential security vulnerabilities within the CCH Central.WhatsNew.dll, we have removed the hardcoded URL, UserId, and Password from this file.
Quality Improvements
ITS 66246 - Email merge output displays > sign
Since upgrading to 2022.1, when using email merge with Outlook a > (chevron) is being shown at the very top of the email body.
Some Reporting reports showing SQL generated error
Since upgrading to 2022.1 some reports when run in CCH Reporting were taking over 10 mins to try to run and then showed a SQL generator error. Performance improvements have been made to areas within CCH Reporting to improve the performance when running these reports.
ITS 51281, 57044, 59305, 66282, 66281, 53441 - Conflicted messages received when trying to delete clients
When trying to delete clients that were associated with Fee Protection, historic Standing Orders or Ledger notes a "The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint...." message was being shown and the client was not able to be deleted.
