CCH Workflow 2023.2 Release Notes

Prerequisites

Extra option called 'Blank' for when using the Check Extra Field step.  This allows practices to capture the blank value (where no value has been set against the Extra Category on the client) so that the workflow is no longer terminated.  Practices will need to amend their existing workflows that currently use the Check Extra Field step (once the workflow is no longer in use) to allow for this scenario.

Quality Improvements

ITS 66159 - Workflow homepage showing incorrect client name

Previously, when posting a group bill that included WIP from multiple clients, the resulting workflow when viewed from the homepage control displayed the last client name that was added to the group bill.

ITS 57531 - Able to change Date rule if the workflow is in use

Previously, if the date rule was applied to a workflow that was in use, and the date rule was renamed or made inactive, in some circumstances this caused the active workflows to terminate or abort.  A message is now shown if either the description is changed or if the inactive box is checked and their actions are not allowed if the workflow is currently in use.

ITS 55870 - Check Extra Field step type - if the extra field was blank the workflow is aborted

Previously, if the Check Extra Field step type is used within a workflow and that workflow is applied to a client where the subsequent extra field value is blank, the workflow was aborted/terminated.

ITS 66518 - Employee still available for selection even if disabled

Previously, if the employee was flagged as Disabled Timesheet, under Employee > Main tab, then the employee was no longer available for selection within an active workflow.  The employee will now no longer show if the Disable Login is selected.
